Van oudsher kent Nederland een sterke handelsgeest. De schepen van de Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie brachten koopwaar vanuit alle windstreken naar Nederland en de rest van Europa. Inmiddels ligt het tijdperk van de VOC ver achter ons, maar Nederland speelt nog steeds een prominente rol in de wereldhandel en bij de productie en distributie van groente en fruit. NORDIS draagt graag bij aan dat succes. Door de gunstige geografische ligging van ons bedrijf zijn wij in staat dicht bij de bron in te kopen.
Onze dienstverlening is er op gericht een zo breed en constant mogelijk assortiment van groente en fruit aan te kunnen bieden. NORDIS kent de weg naar lokale, regionale en internationale versmarkten en onze bedrijfsprocessen zijn zo ingericht dat op- en overslag minimaal is. Door deze uitgekiende logistiek ontvangt u uw bestelling altijd vers. Wij zijn er stellig van overtuigd dat wij op het gebied van AGF momenteel de kortst mogelijke logistieke lijnen tussen de bron en het schip weten te realiseren.
Inmiddels hebben wij een aanzienlijke klantenkring opgebouwd en wij willen ook u graag als klant verwelkomen.

Before your fruits and vegetables end up in your store a lot of effort has been put into the cultivation, packaging and transport. Which is largely generated from fossil fuels and produces greenhouse gases. The space for farmland counts for the final environmental impact. On the products is not visible which yields the least environmental impact. We integrated our product list with the fruit and vegetable calendar of Milieu Centraal: it relates environmental classes to the total environmental impact of the production, transportation and packaging. Fruit and vegetables in environmental class A and B cause the least environmental impact, environmental products in Class D and E most.
The fruit and vegetable calendar of Milieu Centraal indicates per month and country of origin the environmental class of a product. The country of origin of a product is stated on both our website and invoice.
